Quantum Computation and Intuition in living organisms

چکیده
The intuition as distinct from rational thinking has been the subject of investigation for a very long time. The domesticated animals as well as wild animals also have been shown to display some or the other form of intuition. Though mechanisms have been defined for the rational thinking, the mechanisms for intuition are not as clear. We propose that wormholes between the consciousness of the living organisms and the universal consciousness may lead to intuition. We also discuss intuition and its mechanisms with special reference to plants. Rational thinking in the animal kingdom has been studied in detail. Though intuitive thinking has been known for a long time in animal kingdom and has been associated with creativity in human beings, the fundamental mechanisms leading to intuitive thinking have not been investigated in as much detail as in the rational thinking. It is common knowledge and experience that the rational thinking is a step by step process, intuition in contrast is a sudden process. It has been proposed that the entire universe behaves as a quantum computer (Lloyd, 2006). Similarly the constituents of the universe can be envisaged to behave as quantum computers on their own. We propose that not only the universe and its constituents but the elementary field of consciousness which is a source of everything is a giant quantum computer with infinite dimensions. It is worth noting that till recently the record for number of dimensions for a two photon system was 14, however the record has been broken and scientists report 103 dimensions for a two photon system (Krenna et al. 2014). Thus a giant quantum computer with infinite dimensions can at least be imagined. We have proposed earlier that living organisms and the universal consciousness are entangled systems and that wormholes exist between the consciousness of living organisms and the universal consciousness. Wormholes are generally the shortcut through spacetime. However we have proposed the existence of wormholes between the fields of consciousness. (Grover, 2014). We propose that the instantaneous communication through the wormholes leads to the intuition. It has been proposed recently that the creation of entangled systems leads to instantaneous creation of wormholes (Jensen and Karch, 2013, Sonner, 2013). We have earlier theorized that increasing the levels of consciousness leads to creation of wormholes and as a result the communication between the consciousness of the living organisms and the universal consciousness increases. In this context human beings/animals with the higher states of consciousness and consequently higher magnitude of consciousness vector (Grover, 2014) have more wormholes with the universal consciousness, thus leading to intuition. This will explain higher incidence of intuition in meditative states. In plants, in contrast to the higher animals, a distinct brain is lacking. Thus the existence of “rational thinking” as described in the animals is doubtful in plants. However a field of consciousness has been proposed to be associated with plants and like animals, the wormholes might exist between the field of consciousness of plants and the universal consciousness, thus leading to intuitions. In fact due to a lack of “rational thinking” in the plants intuition may play a bigger role. Conclusions We have proposed earlier thatthe consciousness of living organisms and universal consciousness constitute a quantum system and exist in an entangled state. We have also proposed the existence of wormholes between the two. Although there is no observational evidence for the existence of wormholes these appear as valid solutions to the equations of theory of general relativity. The existence of wormholes has been proposed in an entangled system consisting of two quarks. A considerable theoretical advance is needed to prove the existence of wormholes between human consciousness and the universal consciousness. We use the above concept to explain intuition in living organisms in this paper Monendra Grover et.al / International Journal on Computer Science and Engineering (IJCSE) ISSN : 0975-3397 Vol. 6 No.06 Jun 2014 209

Quantum Information and Computation: Report
In this report, we present the ideas behind the notion of quantum random walks. We further restrict our attention to the paper ”Search via quantum walk” by Magniez, Nayak, Roland and Santha and give some general insights and intuition behind their work. The report is intended for the final exam evaluation in the subject ”Quantum Information and Computation”.
متن کاملTheoretical computation of the quantum transport of zigzag mono-layer Graphenes with various z-direction widths
The quantum transport computations have been carried on four different width of zigzag graphene using a nonequilibrium Green’s function method combined with density functional theory. The computed properties are included transmittance spectrum, electrical current and quantum conductance at the 0.3V as bias voltage. The considered systems were composed from one-layer graphene sheets differing w...
متن کاملExperiment and the foundations of quantum physics
Instead of having to rely on gedanken (thought) experiments, it is possible to base this discussion of the foundations of quantum physics on actually performed experiments because of the enormous experimental progress in recent years. For reasons of space, the author discusses mainly experiments related to the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen paradox and Bell’s theorem, that is, to quantum entanglement....

متن کاملLoop Quantum Gravity
The problem of describing the quantum behavior of gravity, and thus understanding quantum spacetime, is still open. Loop quantum gravity is a well-developed approach to this problem. It is a mathematically well-defined background-independent quantization of general relativity, with its conventional matter couplings. Today research in loop quantum gravity forms a vast area, ranging from mathemat...
